First week of July the search interface and results tabulation was updated. The search interfaces has received

• improved support in the map search (including map projections),
• the list of institutions is made more manageable,
• all fileds are expanded by default but can be collapsed by the user,

results tabulation now includes

• a map presentation of location of datasets
• improved visualisation of time series which now includes dynamic plotting (including readout of values)
• improved data dump to CSV

Information on YOPP datasets hosted by the Arctic Data Archive System (ADS) of the National Institute for Polar Research in Japan is now included in the searchable data catalog for YOPP.

The search interface has been updated. Now the map used in the search box supports more map projections, including a southern and northern hemisphere map. Furthermore, the search interface has been further restructured and prepared for more faceted searchs (e.g. by institutions) in the future. The business logic supproting transformations has also received some upgrades, but many of these will first be fully visible once the backend services are updated as well.

An interactive service that can be used to validate NetCDF/CF and ACDD files have been added to the Support section. This is available through https://yopp.met.no/dataset_validation/form.
